These terms govern the services provided by Lodestone Enterprise Ltd, including the Renownly AI-visibility audits sold under this company. By placing an order you agree to these terms. They are written for a business-to-business relationship. Most of our clients are businesses; if you buy as a consumer, your statutory rights still apply and are summarised in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

02The service & prices
Renownly assesses whether and how named AI engines (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini and Google AI Overviews) reference or recommend a firm, using publicly available information together with materials you provide, and gives practical recommendations. Current options are:

The order confirmation defines the exact scope of your engagement and prevails over any general description on this site or in marketing.
03Payment
- Audits and fix sprints are payable in advance.
- Monitoring is payable monthly in advance.
- Card payments are handled securely by Stripe.
- Late payment may accrue statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We may suspend work for non-payment.
04Refunds
In short: if we have not started, you get a full refund; once work has started it is generally non-refundable; if we fail to deliver, we put it right. Consumers also keep a statutory 14-day right to cancel. The full position, for both business and consumer buyers, is set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
05No guarantee of results
AI engines are operated by third parties. They change constantly and are largely opaque. We do not control, and cannot guarantee, that any AI tool or search engine will recommend, rank, mention or feature you, nor can we guarantee any uplift in visibility, traffic, leads or revenue.
What we provide is analysis and best-practice recommendations. Our outputs reflect the state of the engines at the time of testing, and results may change without notice.
06Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, lawful inputs and information.
- Confirm you hold the rights in any materials you give us.
- Implement our recommendations at your own judgement and risk.
- Ensure your own regulatory compliance (for example ICAEW, ACCA, FCA and ASA obligations).
07Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the final report and any bespoke deliverables prepared for you. We retain ownership of our pre-existing methods, templates and know-how, licensed to you as embedded in the deliverables. We may use anonymised learnings to improve our service.
08Confidentiality
Confidentiality is mutual. We treat the materials you share as confidential, and these obligations survive the end of the engagement.
09Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that:
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential or pure economic loss.
- Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid for the service in question (for monitoring, the fees paid in the preceding 3 months).
- We are not liable for decisions you make, or for the acts of third-party AI providers.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. No third party has rights to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
